Home Firearm Safety -

The Hernando Sportsman's Club, an NRA affiliate, has sponsored programs for the past 22 years to help promote safety in the shooting sports. A class in Home Firearm Safety is offered once a month on a Saturday which will also qualify for application of a Carry Permit.

Class size is limited and pre-registration is required. Cost of the class is $50.00. Class is approximately 5 hours including 'Range Time'. Classes begin at 9:00 am in the Clubhouse at the Hernando Sportsman's Club Range. All equipment and materials are provided.

TO PRE-REGISTER, CALL THE CLUBHOUSE AT 352-597-9931.  Our receipt of your application and fee will be your confirmation in the class.  We will call a few days prior to the class to remind you of your class date. Classes must have a minimum of 5 students or the class will be re-scheduled for the next month!

Classes are held on the third Saturday of the month.
